Inspiring thoughts

Anger is a condition in which the tongue works faster than the mind.

You can't change the past, but you can ruin the present by worrying over the future.

God always gives His best to thosewho leave the choice with Him.

If you fill your heart with regrets of yesterdayand the worries of tomorrow, you have no today to be thankful for.

Take time to laugh, for it isthe music of the soul.

To get out of a difficulty, one usually must go through it.

We take for granted the thingsthat we should be giving thanks for
.
Happiness is enhanced by othersbut does not depend upon others.

Can Matchmaking Web sites lower the divorce rate?

Well, lets first see what they enable:

According to Jonathan Abrams, founder of Friendster
New online matchmaking technologies, where based on networks of friends or algorithms, are responsible only for helping people discover possible matches. It is ultimately up to the individuals to make their own relationship decision

Thus if we look at the roles of the online web sites as just a facilitator the answer to lower divorce rates would be No! When can these sites produce better matches? When the algorithms were smart enough to indicate potential matches with high compatibility guarantee. We currently lack the ability to predict the same.

However what is interesting to note is according to Andrea Baker, author of Double Click: Romance and Commitment Among Online Couples -
The online sites make us focus on what other members post in their written profiles, and minimize the immediate power of physical attraction. In getting to know one another before meeting face to face, people can weigh appearance against other appealing traits.

So online dating can reduce the divorce rates by making people focus more on traits that matter more in a successful relationship but often get forgotten.

Adhyatam aur Sanskriti Jaago aur Pehchano

Bharatiya Sanskriti thi Vishwa Sanskriti
Rishiyon ne pehchana jeevan ke sahi arth ko...
Avishkar kiya unhone dharma ka
Disha dene har manushya ke karma ko

Phir gaye bhul hum us marma ko
Dharma ko ghera pakhandiyon ke kukarma ne
Puja paath bas reh gaya ek bhram hi
Log bhool gaye keemat shram ki

Ab humein pehchanana hai us bhoole itahas ko
Apni sanskriti ko bachana hai aur parihaas se
Aayo hum sanware jeevan ke devata ko
Pehchankar adhyatam ke sahi swaroop ko

Digging and Discovering

I was cribbing and cursing Everything.
The weather, the concrete jungle
The lack of flora and fauna.

I was silently grieving for
My loss of space, people and self-respect,
patch of greenery,
my pond, my trees, my sky!

I never acquainted a place,
Where sky was visible in
Ugly patches.
You have to travel extra mile
For your share of sunlight.
I always thought
These were gifts of nature
Available to all and sundry!

Now I am determined
To claim my portion
Of everything;
What is rightfully mine.

Cribbing and crying
Will certainly retire from my life.
And everyone beware
Before putting hurdles
In my path.
I have donned my old mantle again!
